Contributions to Virginia NOW support education, advocacy and organizing for equality in Virginia. We are a statewide organization with members and supporters in every part of the Commonwealth – both men and women.
As a multi-issue membership organization of women and men, Virginia NOW is a leader in the fight to overcome sexism, racism, classism, and all forms of discrimination and oppression. Our agenda includes women’s reproductive rights, the Equal Rights Amendment, equal pay and equality in the workplace, job security, health care that includes comprehensive reproductive health care, a clean and healthy environment, voters rights, a state budget that ensures funding for human needs, and personal safety in our homes, on the streets, on campuses and schools, and in the workplace.
